Device/Browser Information: IP address, browser type, browser version, operating system, and unique device identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various purposes:

To provide, operate, and maintain our Service.
To process AI-powered analysis of your workspace data (when requested by you).
To send you transactional emails, such as invitations, notifications, and password resets.
To monitor the usage of our Service and improve our offerings.
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues.

3. AI Data Processing

Your workspace data may be processed by third-party artificial intelligence providers (such as Anthropic) to generate strategic insights, summaries, and recommendations. This processing occurs only when you explicitly trigger AI features within the platform. We do not use your data to train our own or third-party AI models.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following situations:

With Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third parties who assist us in operating our platform, such as cloud hosting providers, email delivery services, and AI processing APIs.
Compliance with Laws: We may disclose your information when required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
Business Transfers: If Meridian is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as a business asset.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS), to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-Party Integrations

If you choose to connect third-party services like Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, we access only the specific files or folders you explicitly select. We do not store copies of your cloud files beyond what you import directly into Meridian for analysis.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies strictly for authentication and session management purposes. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking mechanisms for marketing purposes.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access, update, or correct the personal data we have on you at any time.
Request a full export of your workspace data.
Request the deletion of your account, which will subsequently remove your personal data from our active systems.

To exercise these rights, please contact us or use the settings available within your account dashboard.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data and workspace data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. Upon account deletion, we will securely remove your data from our active databases within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

Meridian is intended for business professionals and is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of any material changes by sending an email to the address associated with your account or by placing a prominent notice on our Service.
